About Us

Mt Scott Jubilee Christian Preschool and Kindergarten's curriculum provides group interaction to produce social-emotional growth, academic readiness activities to build vocabulary, speech and language skills as well as color and number concepts.

We are a small and creative school that will provide a wholesome environment where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our purpose is to meet the spiritual, emotional, social and cognitive needs of the children who are entrusted to us.

Children will be encouraged to expand in academic skills through a wide variety of experiences and relationships.

We are dedicated to providing an educational environment for children. This environment is prepared daily and changed monthly to encourage a love of learning.

Developing their own character and knowledge of the world around them will be important.

curriculum is incorporated into the following areas.

Practical Life

The exercises done in daily life describe these activities. Pouring, spooning, sweeping, and beading are just a few favorites enjoyed by the children.

Sensorial

The practice of careful observation is given to the differences in size, shape and color of materials used in the classroom.

Language

Pre-reading and pre-writing exercises are practiced using the sandpaper letters. This helps to prepare the child for successful spelling, reading and writing.

Mathematics

Creative cards and counters, together with the sandpaper numbers, are used to teach number recognition and quantity as well as number writing.
